Isotope Science Center,
The University of Tokyo

Since its establishment in 1951 as Japan's first radionuclide handling facility, Isotope Science Center, the University of Tokyo, has been engaged in advanced research and development related to radiation and radionuclides for more than 70 years. Our primary missions are to provide radiation workers from and outside the university with education and training on radiation and radionuclide handling, and to support the recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake.
